His primary research interests include deep learning in systems biology, econophysics, and multiagent artificial intelligence.

He is also interested in AI safety, growth economics, decision theory, longevity, and neuroscience.

He has degrees in economics, biology, and applied math, and is currently pursuing a degree in bioinformatics.

In industry, he worked as a data scientist, project manager, VC manager, and business executive.
